Character: Adiane the Elegant Series/Fandom: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann template version unmarked Location: near the downtown area in a nice codo Age: unknown. Looks to be in her twenties Gender: Female Species: Beastman. Part human, part snake, and part scorpion Sexuality: due to her hatred for most people, we shall assume asexual, but it doesn't seem above her to respect someone enough to feel a bit of emotion for them. Appearance: Body wise, Adiane is the perfect example of a model's beauty, which explains her title "The Elegant." Extremely tall and slender, she has a curvy body with ample breasts and beautifully shaped legs. Her clothing only helps to exemplify this beauty. Dark red high heels that make her even taller, and a rich purple kimono style dress that modestly reveals her legs and breasts. The dress itself is is frilled and when she raises her arms, shows the pattern of butterfly wings. To keep the dress wrapped around her, she uses a half corset, black in color, instead of the traditional obi. Still, she has a wide range of facial expressions, and when she gets angry (which is most times) her beautiful face can contort into pure rage. She also has a deep red eye patch over her left eye with a white cross pattern stiched onto it. Her other eye is slitted like a snakes. There is also a long red tattoo that wraps around her from the ankle of her left leg, to her chest, to her neck. It isn't known what the tattoo design really is or why she has it. The most noticeable thing about her, however, is her long brown scorpion tail which, much like a cat's tail, swishes around lazily from time to time. Personality: As cliche as it might sound, the first thing someone meeting Adiane would think is Cold. Hard. Bitch. She is an an extremely aggressive, easily angered woman, who would much rather yell and lash out then talk anything through. She is stubborn, belligerent, and quick to insult. She looks down on most anyone, especially humans, and has no problem with telling people she's better then them. Filled with extreme pride, she will quickly lash out at those better then her or whom she deems a threat to her title. Hotheaded and impulsive, this can land her into trouble. Still, if someone gains her respect, she is a lot more kind towards them. Maybe not to the point of being nice, but definitely less aggressive and judgmental. Also, despite her quick temper, she is a very good tactician and can enter a battle with a clear enough head to understand her enemies and figure out their weaknesses. Even so, she does have her vulnerable side. Being a women, she is quick to attack the opposite sex and retaliate for being called the "weaker sex." Abilities/Strengths: Despite her human appearance, she does have many of the attributes from her respective animals. Her eye, which is that of a snake, allows her to see far better then a normal person. With it, she can sense movement even in the darkest of night. Her scorpion tail also can be used as a weapon. It can lash out at people, either giving them a glancing blow or piercing them, injecting the poison that the stinger has. While it isn't strong enough to be lethal, it can paralyze a person for a few good hours depending. Her anger can also make her quite berserk in her attacks, and she is coldblooded enough to kill without a second thought. Also, she has a base knowledge of military tactics and is able to skillfully attack her enemies through this approach. Weaknesses: Though a powerful attacker in her own right, she is most powerful when fighting with her battleship and Ganmen. Without either, she isn't as strong as she could be. Though her blows are strong, she has no other abilities but physical attributes of her animals, and her skill as a soldier. She is also quite vulnerable when it comes to men, feeling she needs to protect her right as a strong fighter in front of them, which leads her to impulsive and quite dangerous decisions. Her hot temper can lead her to do foolish things or throw herself into situations sometimes too difficult for her to handle. |
History: Adiane comes from a Template that was in a land with an imperialistic government. The king, Lord Genome, was a sadistic and hedonistic ruler who had always been extremely paranoid that his territory might be breached. Therefor he created the beastmen, creatures that had once been human but were given animalistic qualities through genetic experimentation. He knew that they'd be far more powerful then having a regular human army due to their savage natures and extreme loyalty to him. One by one he had them created, and taught them to be the perfect soldiers as well as how to wield a ganmen, a type of robot used in combat. The land he ruled was one that had many technological advancements, where robots were common and used to do anything from cleaning a person's house, to being used in warfare. With the use of his beastmen and the ganmen, he was known and feared throughout the land and even in other kingdoms who knew that they could not match his might. However, his human followers suffered from his army as well. The beastmen knew they were superior and often terrorized the humans mercilessly, as Lord Genome turned away from the please for him to call off his creations. However, more discipline was necessary in keeping his always growing army in order so he created the four generals, the strongest beastmen he could possibly create. Unlike the other beastmen who had attributes from one animal only, these creatures were created with two. Adiane was the third to be created. She grew up being trained to become the perfect soldier, learning how to kill mercilessly at such a young age. Because she was meant to be one of Genome's generals when she grew up, she had grown up spoiled and secluded from other people. Her competitive nature, however, came from meeting the two who were created before her, Guame and Cytomander. They constantly criticized her for being a weak woman, only making her want to become even stronger. This also spawned her hatred of men in general for underestimating women. Therefor she grew up to be beautiful yet deadly in all aspects. Her only real friend was the last general to be created, Thymilph, who treated her as an individual and respected her as a soldier. The only other to come close was Viral, whom she treated as an underling and despite always abusing him, deep down she didn't mind his company and knowing that he was a weak man she could bully was always a plus. Adiane was given one area to watch over much like all of the other generals. Her area included Template City, where she spent most of her time. The city was an important vantage point in her specified area, and therefor was her headquarters. It was an advanced city where few humans lived due to Adiane's cruel nature and apathy towards them. It was definitely a city filled with soldiers, almost a fortress against any attackers on her side, and Adiane was sure to make the city seem fierce as it overflowed with ganmen and other such military vehicles, and her own battleship. However, due to this cruelty she had, an uprising happened, and the humans who had been abused by her and her soldiers fought back. It lasted about three weeks until Adiane, losing her patience with dealing with humans and struck back, instantly slaughtering the traitors. That night she slept peacefully, a smirk on her lips, not knowing that she'd wake up in a completely different Template.
